Eighties Pop

The 80`s when pop was pop and mobile phones had only just arrived, albeit the size of a house brick and unless you were a yuppie you didnt have one. How did we cope back then, no internet, no facebook, so the only friends you had were really friends who you knew and hung out with. The no.1 console was not an Xbox 360, Sony Playstation, Ipad 4, it was the classic Atari console. If you were really lucky then you had a game where you could play 3 different games, ah the graphics I hear you youngsters say. Well the ball was square and the rest of the graphics were how can I say, er straight. Computers in the eighties didnt have internet then, you just played games on them which you would put the tape in a tape recorder(remember them) and you could go have your dinner, come back and just hope it had loaded as most of the time they didnt and if you bought a really popular game then whilst it loads a picture would appear on your screen, it didn`t do anything but you knew it was a top game when that happened. Most popular computers in the eighties were first the Sinclair ZX80, ZX81, Zx Spectrum, Commodore 64, Atari 800XL, Amstrad, Apple Macintosh, & BBC Micro. If you wanted colour you could buy a coloured type of transparent paper which you would fit on your tv screen and hope that once you got it in place there were no creases in it which there always was and that`s how you got colour in the eighties,

Anyway back to pop music now.
